Oh how I wish I were back in South Tyrol again (instead of in Munich in our provisional tiny hotel room which resembles a dirty sauna with carpet)...
Just to give you a preview of some of the travel photos I will be sharing, this photo was taken from the balcony of our hotel in the South Tyrol region of the Italian Alps during our vacation (and it was even more beautiful in panorama).
During one of our morning walks, I plucked some examples of local fauna and made sketches which I will be using for a new series of collages called "Alpine Wildflowers." More images of my new work coming soon!

Dear "artists who blog" interview friends, please be patient with me. Our apartment is still chaos, but several rooms have now been repainted, so the renovation is moving along. It looks like we will staying in the not so wonderful hotel room for a few more days, but we hope to be able to move back in to our apartment by the end of next week. It is at the moment such a struggle to organize our daily life and maintain some sort of normal rhythm for the children, I am going to have to put the artist interviews on the back burner for another week.
Thanks for your visits and kind words, and I look forward to sharing more (good) news soon!

No worries at all Stephanie! I can imagine how uncomfortable and chaotic everything must be right now. I hope your renovation moves along quickly and smoothly.
I can't wait to see the rest of your photos! Beautiful.
