How would you like to make a few of these lovely little tea lights with me today? Decorated candles create such a festive, homey atmosphere and are so fast and easy to make!
I'm not usually one to do a lot of "crafting" around the house, but somehow this winter, I'm so in the mood. I'll be sharing several of my projects with you during the next couple of weeks, and I hope you'll enjoy them too!
This project is very simple. All you need are tea lights in different sizes, ribbon in different widths, scissors, and strong crafting glue.
First you cut strips of pretty ribbons to go around the candles,
then glue and wrap the ribbons around the tea lights. Soon you have a tray or plate full of handmade, decorated candles!
Light the candles and the effect is magical. These candles would make a beautiful, low centerpiece for the holidays if you put them on a special plate and added a little greenery. I could also imagine a lovely tray with just golden or silver decorated candles - perfect for New Year's celebrations.
Have fun!
